1) RetireUp Adds Modeling Capabilities
Web-based retirement scenario platform RetireUp expanded its modeling capabilities to include illustrations of fixed index annuities (FIAs) from Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America within its client retirement income models.
The computer-based modeling system allows financial professionals to present a more complete visual presentation of their clients' retirement income strategies using defined income (Social Security, variable annuities, fixed index annuities, pensions) and other assets.
2) Guardian Adding Managed Account QDIA
The Guardian Insurance & Annuity Company introduced a new managed account qualified default investment alternative (QDIA) option for participants in small retirement plans through independent investment advisor Brinker Capital, Inc.
Brinker Capital Destinations is a collective investment trust solution featuring five professionally managed risk-based portfolios, offering investment strategies ranging from conservative to aggressive that offer a blend of mutual funds and exchange-traded funds. Each portfolio utilizes a multi-asset class approach and targets a specific investment objective.
3) Orion Advisor Services Now Available on Schwab OpenView Gateway
Orion Advisor Services, a portfolio accounting service provider for financial advisors, is now a participating provider in Schwab OpenView Gateway, the platform that allows integration between Charles Schwab custody systems and participating technology providers.
