New products and changes introduced over the last week include a series of retirement funds from T. Rowe Price, an employee benefits exchange from MassMutual and a cloud-based retirement platform from RetireUp in partnership with Riskalyze.
In addition there are new ETFs from State Street Global Advisors and new funds from Context Asset Management and Hanlon Investment Management.
Here are the latest developments of interest to advisors:
1) T. Rowe Price Adds Retirement Fund Series
T. Rowe Price introduced Retirement I Funds, its second series of target-date funds for retirement plans and other institutional investors.
The 13 Retirement I Funds have identical investment strategies as the firm's flagship Retirement Fund series but lower shareholder servicing costs. The funds' glide paths, underlying funds and targeted asset allocation are the same.
2) MassMutual Introduces Integrated Employee Benefits Exchange
Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company introduced BeneClick!, an integrated exchange with a guidance tool that helps employees prioritize retirement savings, healthcare and insurance protection benefits based on their stage in life.
The exchange, powered by Maxwell Health, integrates MassMutual's MapMyBenefits tool, which helps employees prioritize benefit choices, with retirement readiness, healthcare coverage and emergency planning.
3) RetireUp Integrates with Riskalyze
Cloud-based retirement scenario platform RetireUp has integrated with risk alignment platform Riskalyze to allow financial advisors to construct risk-tailored portfolios that are aligned with client retirement goals.
