Raymond James Investment Advisors Division has hired former Fidelity Investments exec Maria Daley as its new senior vice president of strategic growth, while Allianz Life has named Todd Hedtke as senior vice president and chief investment officer for Allianz Investment Management US.
Daley joins Raymond James' Investment Advisors Division from Fidelity Investments, where she was a vice president and senior relationship manager based in Chicago. She has also spent time at Charles Schwab, Neuberger Berman and Atlantic Trust, where she served as a partner and spent nine years in business development for the private wealth management firm.
In his new role, Hedtke will lead the AIM investment leadership team and join the company's Executive Leadership Group, reporting directly to Allianz Life President and CEO Walter White. Hedtke succeeds Carsten Quitter, who will join Allianz S.p.A. in Italy as chief investment officer.
Bill Van Law, president of Raymond James advisor division, said that Daley and her team will help Raymond James "focus on continuing to expand the comprehensive resources we offer to advisors, such as lending solutions and industry leading technology – which have attracted top RIAs to our platform."
