Compared to their counterparts in other countries, Americans display the most often the homepage during their web browsing: nearly twice by session on average. Counter-intuitively, they start their web-browsing from a homepage less frequently than the global average.
These curious findings are unveiled in a new study from ContentSquare and E-Commerce One about the browsing habits of users worldwide. The survey recorded browsing data — active time, session number, cart-reaching rate, among other variables — of 150 million Internet users across 30 international web sites.
