The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors board of directors has elected Frank Moore, the board's treasurer, to the position of 2015-2016 national chairman, the organization announced on Friday.
Moore, president and founder of Vintage Financial Services, will serve as chairman-elect and remain as treasurer until his term begins on Sept. 1.
As chairman, Moore said he aims to help build on past initiatives to continue to grow membership.
"In the past couple years, NAPFA has hired a new CEO, new staff members, moved to new offices and made some substantial technology investments both internally and for the membership," Moore said in a statement. "I'm excited to be able to help us build on this and grow the membership."
NAPFA, a professional association in the United States dedicated to the advancement of fee-only financial planning, has more than 2,500 members across the country. Moore's prior years of service to NAPFA include the role of chairman and treasurer for NAPFA's Midwest Region.
