Hersher tweeted about her experience and each step of the process from Liberia's Roberts International Airport to an airport in Washington and then Dulles International Airport in Virginia.

The NPR producer's plane made a stop in Brussels, where she didn't receive another health screening, but was checked for her electronics, before boarding another plane bound for Washington, D.C. After landing at Dulles, the customs agents alerted the incoming flight from Liberia that a CDC person would talk to them.
