1) USCF Advisers Launches Stock Split ETF

USCF Advisers has announced the launch of the Stock Split Index Fund (TOFR). The group says the product aims to track the price and yield performance of the 2-for-1 Index, less fees and expenses.

The 2 for 1 Index contains approximately 30 companies that trade on major U.S. stock exchanges. Companies eligible for inclusion in the index have all announced a 2 for 1 (or higher) stock split within the 6 months prior to selection for the index. Each month, index is updated on the Friday closest to the 15th of that month.

The pool of eligible companies is evaluated and ranked according to a proprietary methodology, and the top ranked choice is selected for the index. One new stock is added, and the oldest stock is removed. All positions are then rebalanced to equal weight.

2) Source Launches Euro Stoxx ETF

Global investment firm Source has announced, together with its own launch within the U.S., the launch of the Source Euro Stoxx 50 ETF, its first investment product for the American market.

The EURO STOXX 50 Index is comprised of 50 of the largest companies domiciled in the eurozone and is the primary hedging tool used by global trading desks.

3) 361 Capital Files to Launch Global Long/Short Equity Fund

361 Capital announced that it has filed to launch the 361 Global Long/Short Equity Fund. Los Angeles-based Analytic Investors will subadvise the fund.

The fund will use the same investment strategy as the Analytic Global Long/Short Equity Portfolio, a separately managed account (SMA), which was launched in December 2009.

4) Schwab Adds Four Direxion ETFs to Commission-Free Trading Platform

Charles Schwab & Co. has added four Direxion Strategic Beta ETFs to Schwab ETF OneSource, its commission-free ETF trading platform.

The new additions are: Direxion Zacks MLP High Income Shares (ZMLP); Direxion All Cap Insider Sentiment Shares (KNOW); Direxion NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index Shares (QQQE); and Direxion S&P 500 Index Volatility Response Shares (VSPY).

Schwab said Thursday that it added a total of 65 exchange-traded funds to its OneSource platform. This brings the total number of ETFs on the platform to 182, all of which trade online without commissions.

Existing providers, such as ETF Securities, Guggenheim Investments, PowerShares, State Street SPDR, United States Commodity Funds and Charles Schwab Investment Management are adding 37 ETFs to the platform.

5) Allianz Life Launches Survivorship Policy

Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America has launched the Allianz Life Pro+ Survivor Fixed Index Universal Life Insurance Policy. The death benefit is paid after the second insured's death, with an optional First-to-Die rider.

The policy has index allocation options that offer customers tax-deferred cash value accumulation potential based on positive changes in an external index. Multiple index allocation options include the S&P 500 Index, a blended index, and the Barclays U.S. Dynamic Balance Index, as well as a fixed interest option.

6) New Beaumont Strategies Launch on AssetMark Platform

Beaumont Capital Management (BCM) has announced that two new strategies, BCM Decathlon Moderate Aspect and BCM Decathlon Growth Aspect, have launched on the AssetMark platform.

Through long-only, ETF-built portfolios the strategies are managed with specific maximum volatility and drawdown targets designed for specific investor risk profiles. The BCM Decathlon Moderate Aspect limits total equity exposure to 70% of the portfolio while also targeting less total volatility and drawdown than the BCM Decathlon Growth Aspect, which is slightly more aggressive.

7) CDM Retirement Consultants Adds Envestnet Fiduciary Services Solution

CDM Retirement Consultants, Incorporated has added Envestnet Retirement Solutions' (ERS) fiduciary services solution to its suite of solutions.

ERS uses both qualitative and quantitative criteria and its proprietary SCORE methodology to examine the financial product universe to ultimately provide a workable subset of investments that allows participants to construct well-diversified portfolios.

8) DealVector Launches BWIC Board

DealVector has announced the launch of its BWIC board, a marketplace for BWICs where investors can view bid requests from across the market, set alerts for specific bonds or bond criteria, and respond directly to the broker of their choice.

The free service scrapes over $20B in BWICs per month from participating brokers; adds key metrics, such as historical pricing data; de-dupes bid requests by bond, but shows investors each submitting broker and source BWIC; compares the bid requests against each DealVector member's deal center; and proactively notifies members when bonds they hold or watch come out for bid.
