Know what I hate? Wondering if my emails have disappeared into a black hole and not knowing whether or not my prospects have opened them. I suspect you feel the same way.
That's why I wanted to let you know about Signals, a free and easy email prospecting tool that I'm loving right now. Here's why:
1. I know if my prospect has read my email. When the recipient of my email opens it, I instantly get an alert that pops up on my computer. That information is invaluable to me. I know my prospect has looked at my message. What's even better is that I know that they're doing it now—in real time. And if I quickly hop on the phone, I have a much higher likelihood of actually talking to them. Hallelujah!
Signals will also tell me how many times my prospect has opened my email, which gives me some indication of her level of interest. For example, I might modify my sales conversation if I know my prospect has opened my email 12 times as opposed to only once.
If I'm not sitting at my desk when my prospect takes that quick peek, I can click on my Chrome browser and find a running log of my prospect's activity. It works with mobile devices too, so I can keep track when I'm on the road.
