The University of Hawaii at Manoa will offer an online course on disability history and culture this spring.
The course will provide an overview of the history of disability from a disability studies perspective, the university says.
The course, offered through the school's Center on Disability Studies and taught by Steven Brown, will address politics and legislation, diversity, advocacy and education.
