After the defeat of Ken Cuccinelli, the GOP candidate for Governor of Virginia, at the hands of his better-financed, liberal counterpart, the Republican party should become introspective enough to realize that they are going to need to support their own. That means "moderate" Republicans will have to give some money to their Tea Party brethren if they do not, the fissures will render the party a fangless opponent in 2016.
