Clowns on the front lines: Inside Patch Adams’ mission of hope

Patch Adams, the globe-trotting physician made famous by the film of the same name starring Robin Williams has taken his charm to a Syrian refugee camp. Although his foundation, the Gesundheit! Institute, has a goal of providing free health care to as many people as possible around the globe, Adams practices healing in more holistic ways, as well, which brought joy (and underwear) to these Syrian children.
