Belgium considering unprecedented law to grant euthanasia for children, dementia patients

Can a child handle making the decision about whether or not to end their own lives of suffering. That is what is currently being debated in Belgium where euthanasia is already legal for everyone over the age of 18. Predictably, the Catholic church is pushing back.
