The old-guard Republicans are sick of watching their party willingly deteriorate at the hands of inexperienced Tea Party ideologues. The visibly fractured GOP is going through an identity crisis, one so severe it inhibits them from realizing items on their agenda — basically rendering attainable policy goals as wish lists. Who will win this battle, the Tea Party, yearning to unseat establishment incumbents or the old guard members of the GOP? It is tough to tell. As of now, the only clear winner is the Democrats.
