Can I sign up for Obamacare once I’m sick?

Unfortunately there are those out there who do not worry about things until they actually happen to them, such as the individuals who always wear their seatbelts after being involved in a major car accident. But calculating to pay the penalty and not purchase insurance until you are actually sick may not work out the way you planned.
