Wealth Management Systems announced on Monday that it has acquired the S&P Capital IQ Financial Communications division to "help our clients maximize the value of customer engagement," according to the company.
Wealth Management, which specializes in technology-based rollover services and financial planning tools in the retirement services industry, said the terms of acquisition were not disclosed.
However, it did say it will utilize its data processing expertise in combination with the education and marketing solutions of Financial Communication to "strengthen its value proposition in the marketplace," providing clients with fully integrated solutions to "maximize customer engagement, personalize the customer experience and proactively address the needs of every customer through education and customized product and service offerings."
"The purchase of FC is an important part of WMSI's growth strategy as we invest in product offerings that will empower our clients to better anticipate and respond to customer needs," John Geli, Wealth Management's CEO, said in a statement. "Our industry has put a bright spotlight on the challenges of engaging consumers, employees and participants in the planning process to achieve retirement readiness."
