Obama ridicules Republican doomsayers over health care law

President Obama referred to Republican efforts to spread misinformation about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as desperate. With just five days to go before Americans will be able to purchase coverage on the online marketplaces, known as exchanges, the president hinted that Republicans are trying to defund the law because they fear that Americans will come to like it.
