CUNA Mutual Group transitioned its employee benefits book of business to Digital Insurance to provide credit unions with employee benefits product solutions. Digital Benefit Advisors (DBA) will service this business, providing resources, expertise and education to help credit unions prepare for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act requirements.

As part of the expanded relationship with CUNA Mutual Group, Digital has arranged for replacement group life and disability offerings from insurance carriers, including Unum and The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. These offerings feature preferred products, pricing and benefits for credit union employees.

Digital negotiated with carriers to design group life and disability policies specifically to meet the needs of credit unions and their employees. The plans will be available to existing and new customers immediately or during renewal periods to those currently covered by CMFG Life policies. DBA will service the plans through its newly formed Credit Union Services team, comprised of many former CUNA Mutual Group employee benefits professionals.
