Congressmen rejoice! Govt. to subsidize their health insurance through Obamacare’s exchanges

The Office of Personal Management announced yesterday that it would allow members of congress and their staffers to keep their insurance subsidies when purchasing plans on the incipient health care exchanges as mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. In an extreme rarity, the president involved himself in the dispute in order to prevent a legislative fix to the subsidy quandary that could have been tied to a spending bill with the purpose of unraveling PPACA mandates.
