What sort of person would the SEC's lawyers like to hold accountable for contributing to the financial collapse of 2008? How about a well-dressed Frenchman who SEC lawyers contend orchestrated and played a pivotal role in a large mortgage backed securities scheme, abetted by industry powerhouse Goldman Sachs, for starters.
