US opens more exports of medical equipment to Iran

Perhaps as an overture to the incoming, self-styled moderate president of Iran, the U.S. is allowing certain medical devices to enter the country without prior approval. The gesture is framed as being purely humanitarian and should indicate a formal thawing of relations with the pariah state.
