Mental health cuts in Utah leave some feeling adrift

Valley Mental Health, a nonprofit in Utah, removed 2,200 patients from its roster citing budget cuts. It's a situation that is becoming fairly common these days. Those removed from the roster were transferred to other providers, but the bigger concern at the Republican-led Statehouse is how Utah will meet the needs of its people with mental illness, especially poorer residents and people living in rural
