WASHINGTON (AP) — President Obama is enrolling stars in a campaign to promote the new health insurance exchanges.
Obama stopped by a private White House meeting Monday with a group of celebrities that included singer Jennifer Hudson and actors Amy Poehler, Michael Cera and Kal Penn.
The White House says the artists expressed interest in helping spread the word about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) exchanges. The health insurance supermarkets are set to open Oct. 1.
