Plain packs 'help smokers to quit'

Less flashy cigarette packs cause smokers to feel their cigarettes are of low quality and may in fact lead them to contemplate quitting, new research from Australia shows. The substandard packs, designed to make smoking less appealing have caused a stir in the UK as allegations fly that an election strategist with connections to alcohol and tobacco companies with delaying plain packs.
