Can an algorithm replace stock analysts?

In 2010, Chicago-based Narrative Science unveiled software that could generate news articles by reading baseball box scores. The company's CEO now says the software could turn data into written reports for wealth management first, investors and research firms. Computers already trade millions of dollars of securities on their own, so is Narrative's software really that much of a leap for Wall Street?
