Baby bust? National birthrate hits an all-time low due to weak economic recovery

Is the sluggish economy and the protracted recovery having an impact on the nation's birthrate. The data seems to point that way. But is that the sole cause? The trend of people getting married later and having less children had been going on for generations. Even still, it is hard to argue that the recession did not have a major impact.
