U.S. consumer spending rebounded in May

We have been hearing the same old song for a long time: The economy is improving albeit at a slow pace. Unemployment benefit claimants have dropped since last week while contracts to purchase previously owned homes hit a new high. The news also nudged the markets forward. We are getting there.
