WASHINGTON (AP) — An outside group supporting President Barack Obama's agenda plans to air a series of ads this summer promoting the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).

Organizing for Action intends to spend at least $1 million this summer on ads to draw attention to the implementation of the health care law, including provisions relating to quality of care and coverage of uninsured Americans.

PPACA requires the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to work with state agencies to set up exchanges, or health insurance supermarkets, in all 50 states and the District of Columbia by Oct. 1.

But the first Organizing for Action ads will talk about preventive care, the minimum medical loss ratio (MLR) rebates, and tax credits for small businesses rather than about the exchange system.
