Obama: Health law is working despite critics “fearmongering”

Speaking to a crowd in California, the president once again made the case for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and dismissed critics' concerns as "fearmongering" geared toward gaining points in the next election cycle. California seemed a fortunate place to make the speech as the state has a lot riding on the law and has enthusiastically set-up its exchange. Thirty-three other states are dragging their feet, forcing the Federal government to set-up their exchanges; they will be the real test.
