WHO warns of Syria disease threat

After watching the civilian death toll climb day-after-day and buildings crumble brick-by-brick, the world seems to have become immune to Syria's agony. (At least that is an easy explanation as to why no measurable action has been taken.) Syrians themselves are not immune to violence or the diseases that violence brings. As summer quickly approaches, a country with a decimated health care system will have to deal with disease born out of the squalid conditions of civil war, the World Health Organization warns.
