In China, 'cancer villages' a reality of life

It takes a lot for the Chinese government to admit to misdeeds, especially when those misdeeds may lead to a decline in industrial productivity, but it is hard to cover up the fact that this village, flanked by factories, has unbelievably high cancer rates amongst the population. What will be done to stop it? How many more villages in the Chinese hinterland are there like this?
