Former Director of the Office of Management and Budget in the Obama Administration Peter Orszag is offering us a silver lining he found in multiple studies: Life expectancies rise in times of financial hardship. From lower automobile fatalities due to less people on the streets to higher quality nursing home staff due to professionals changing careers, it's always nice to take a little bit of good news with a storm of bad.
