America: Where the poor don't get holidays off

The U.S. comes in dead last among developed countries that provides paid holidays and paid vacation. The second-to-last country, Japan, provides at least 10 paid vacation days. In the U.S., of the bottom 25 percent of earners – full- and part-time – about half of them get paid holidays or vacation. For the top 25 percent of earners, 90 percent do get paid time off.
