The Department of public health is shutting down Bacon Bacon, a San Francisco restaurant that has hopped on the bacon on everything trend. Over the last few years, bacon has become chic, moving from something that mom stunk up the kitchen with on Saturday mornings to something that, well, actually floats in your cocktail. Bacon mania has, however, adversely impacted the health of Americans and offended the olfactory sense of some in the upper Haight neighborhood in San Francisco.
