With 110 million Americans infected with some sort of sexually transmitted disease (STD), many of them youths, companies are coming up with technology that shares information about STDs with potential partners, past partners and even health care professionals who can then encourage individuals to seek medical attention. Even with a significant portion of the population infected in some capacity, it does not make it any easier to talk about and these companies are betting that their solutions will.
