Scandals abound for U.S. federal agencies with recent news that the Department of Justice gathered records for 20 phone lines belonging to reporters of the Associated Press news agency. The DOJ notified AP of the seizure on Friday. All this started in May of 2012 when the AP reported on a CIA operation in Yemen which stopped an Al-Qaeda plot to detonate a bomb. The information was sensitive and the DOJ feels it was a "dangerous disclosure of information."
