Could the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act wind up making the cost of treatment prohibitively high for those who need it most? That is the worry of some industry watchers. "Specialty drugs" used mainly by those with serious conditions such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and other chronic conditions could, depending on which state you live, cost more than many can afford.
