Is the upward mobility myth just that, a myth, not be realized by generations of individuals? Well, things may not be that bad but time will tell. There has been much said on the plight of young workers, saddled with student loans and unable to find employment commensurate with their educations. Their older brothers and sisters who are in their 30s may have a more difficult time realizing the American Dream as the housing market hit them much harder. Twenty-somethings maybe able to crawl and scratch their way out of the ripple effects of the Great Recession while 30-somethings may have to just hang on tight to what they have.
