Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life) has been named as one of the top places to work in the country.
The distinction is part of WorkplaceDynamics' inaugural "National Top 150 List." WorkplaceDynamics is an employee survey provider that has polled over 1.7 million people over the last year.
Allianz Life ranked number 53 out of 872 companies.
The list recognizes progressive companies through rather progressive means: asking employees about their companies' leadership, communication, career opportunities, workplace environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits. More often than not, companies are rated for lists similar to this by their peers, or by outside organizations, rendering the employees, who hold first-hand knowledge on the meeting of qualifications, quiet.
The survey uses a set of 22 questions to rank companies. The survey found that employees value companies with a high level of organizational health: companies that delineate a clear direction for the future then execute well.
