The New York Life Foundation, the philanthropic arm of New York Life recently announced a three-year, one million dollar grant to Camp Fire.

Camp Fire is a non-profit dedicated to youth development organizations that cater to youth and teens in communities across the country. Camp Fire utilizes research-based programs to give youths the tools that they need to find their "sparks," taking their natural and innate skills and cultivating them into something that can better the overall community by tapping and then reaching their full potential.

The New York Life Foundation's grant will be used by Camp Fire to support its Step-It-Up-2-Thrive initiative that was developed by the Thrive Foundation for Youth, an organization that pushes young people to realize their full potential.

"The New York Life Foundation has been a long-time supporter of Camp Fire because, like us, they see the potential for success in every child. Together we will help improve the lives of children and families nationwide," said Chris Park, president of the New York Life Foundation.
