OppenheimerFunds has rolled out a new philanthropy program, The Right Way to Change Perspectives, in partnership with two organizations that share the company's mission, beliefs and core values.
In a mid-December statement, OppenheimerFunds said The Right Way's mission was to help change peoples' perspectives and encourage them to roll up their sleeves to make a difference.
In its new endeavor, OppenheimerFunds is partnering with the National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) and Cross-Cultural Solutions. "We aspire to bring the two organizations together to bring this new approach to math abroad in the future," Bill Glavin, OppenheimerFunds chief executive, said in the statement.
"Through active experiences, these organizations tackle some of the most pressing global issues and are committed to changing peoples' perspectives. We hope to provide people with experiences that change the way they see things— whether it's math or social issues around the world—so that they are inspired to influence positive change in their own life or someone else's."
