We wait too long to train our leaders

Why are supervisers operating within companies for over a decade without any training in critical leadership skills?CEO Jack Zenger points out that it's a critical flaw in today's fast-paced business world — and it means that bad habits are being formed, individual and corporate growth is hindered and employee satisfaction may be severely diminished. There's an easy fix, of course. Start teaching today's middle managers the skills they need to manage well at a young age. Why not in the classroom?
