The American Health Lawyers Association plans to hold a 3-day conference on long-term care (LTC) and the law Feb. 25 in Austin, Texas.
Topics on the program include nursing facilities, home health care, hospice care, Medicare, Medicaid, accountable care organizations and fraud.
The draft version of the program now available includes a session on Medicare and Medicaid managed long-term care programs but does not appear to include a session and private long-term care insurance. The program draft does include sessions on employer insurance benefits obligations under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
