Insurers revive child-only policies, but cost is still an issue

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) scared insurers away from the child-only health insurance market in many states by prohibiting carriers from using pre-existing conditions as a reason to deny coverage to children. Some states have succeeded at luring insurers back into the child-only market, but now affordability is a problem, according to a Kaiser Health Network report that was carried by National Public Radio.
