Insurance exchanges can aid some Medicare beneficiaries

Will retiree health benefits program managers show employers how they can ease their way out of the group health market? NPR has noticed that some of  employers that have provided generous retiree health benefits now are shutting down the plans. Instead of simply saying, "Adios, amigos," the employers are sending the retirees to private Medicare Advantage plan exchanges run by companies like Extend Health.
