Paul Ryan took a break from campaigning Thursday to return to the House, where he helped his fellow representatives kick the budget issue into next year. Ryan ignored his own budget proposals and angered a few Tea Party groups by joining with Republicans and Democrats in passing a six-month "continuing resolution." The move will provide enough funding to keep the government going through March, yet also hike spending by $19 billion. The resolution doesn't, however, deal with the impending expiration of Bush-era tax cuts, over which Democrats and Republicans are still deadlocked.
