My group, the American Association for Critical Illness Insurance (AACII), is looking for individuals who have received benefit payments as a result of owning critical illness insurance.

AACI launched a national consumer awareness campaign earlier this year and has already generated coverage in several dozen periodicals and on nearly 300 print and television news websites. The campaign is generating tens of millions of dollars worth of positive exposure.

Six insurers are supporting the AACII effort: Assurity Life, Dearborn National, MetLife, Protective Life, Standard Life and Accident and Transamerica.

Magazine and newspaper editors are willing to tell the story of how critical illness insurance benefits people, but they need real life examples, not just brochures and statistics.

We are hoping insurance agents who sell this protection can help put us in touch with potential candidates who would be willing to share their stories.

We need different kinds of consumers for different kinds of opportunities.

Right now, we are seeking two individuals willing to be interviewed by the editors at a leading national media organization.

The claims should be relatively recent. Ideally, having been paid within the past two years. If we get the two consumers we need for this opportunity, we'd still love to take down names for future opportunities.

The ideal candidates would be men or women in their 40s or young 50s. They could have purchased the coverage either on an individual basis or through their employers.

If you have clients who are open to giving interviews, please contact me using the e-mail address given below.
