The Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA), Chicago, IL, recently announced at its annual meeting that Edwin J. Miltenberger was installed as PIMA President. New PIMA officers were also elected: Samuel H. Fleet, AM WINS, was named President Elect; Daniel O' Brien, New York Life, was named Treasurer; Michael Mercer, Transamerica Affinity Services, was named Secretary.

Securian Financial Group has approved four promotions. Gary Christensen was appointed vice president and general counsel; Pete Berlute was named second vice president and assistant controller; Mike Boyle was appointed second vice president, law; Kristi Fox was named second vice president of the company's life insurance unit.
The Insured Retirement Institute (IRI), Washington, DC, announced that Claudia Mansfield Sutton has joined the association as its new Chief Operating Officer. Sutton was most recently was the Executive Director of the Student & Youth Travel Association.
