Securities America Announces Officer Promotions
Securities America has announced several officer promotions for 2012.
Kirk Hulett was promoted to executive vice president of strategy and practice management. With Securities America for more than 17 years, he joined the firm as director of human resources and in 1998 founded the firm's practice management department. Doreen Griffith was promoted to executive vice president. Griffith joined Securities America in 1999, and as chief information officer, led the team that developed the company's e*Office tools. She also provides executive leadership to several other departments.
Kevin Miller was promoted to senior vice president. He joined the company in January 2000 as a compliance examiner, and moved to the legal department first as assistant general counsel, then deputy general counsel. In 2008, he became chief compliance officer.
Leon Johnson was promoted to vice president of IS operations and technology support. He joined in 1995 as an operations nonbrokerage processor, moved to information services, and transferred to the security team, where he served as engineer, manager, director and then first vice president. Currently he is the chief information security officer, and leads several teams.
Zach Parker was promoted to first vice president of annuities and insurance. He started six years ago as a wealth planning specialist responsible for supporting advisors developing financial plans and income distribution strategies. In 2009, he assumed responsibility for oversight of all annuity, insurance and income distribution initiatives within the wealth management department.
Craig Zimmerman was promoted to first vice president of operations. He is responsible for daily support and workflow for all operations department functions. He is also involved with strategic operations initiatives focused on delivering the best possible advisor experience. He has 17 years in the industry.
HSBC Global Asset Management Appoints Damion Hendrickson RIA Sales Head
HSBC Global Asset Management (USA) Inc. announced recently that Damion J. Hendrickson joined as a senior vice president, head of RIA sales. He will be based in Boston and report to Christian Deseglise, head of wholesale–Americas. He was most recently with BNY Mellon Asset Management and Fidelity Investments.
Hendrickson brings more than 20 years of financial services experience, primarily working with RIAs and single- and multi-family offices, and in his new role, will be responsible for expanding the wholesale RIA platform for emerging and frontier market strategies. He will also build the sales team and develop and manage relationships within the RIA community and (multi) family offices.
