The Lifeline Program announced on December 16, that it was awarded two 2011 MarCom awards. The awards were bestowed by The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals in recognition of "outstanding achievement" in the field.

The Lifeline Program (Lifeline), Atlanta, a division of Wm. Page and Associates Inc., and a pioneer in the life settlement market, received a Platinum award for its white paper, "How Life Insurance Can Save Your Retirement," which was written as well as distributed by David PR Group. Lifeline also received a Gold Award for "Life Settlement Industry Approaching Recovery." The piece, which was written by Stephen Terrell, senior vice president of market development and branding for Lifeline appeared in Life Insurance Selling, a Summit Business Media publication.

Lifeline has been on a marketing offensive to enhance as well as protect the image of the life settlement industry in the eyes of the general public. They recently launched a media marketing campaign featuring Betty White that they hope will catch the attention of the 78-million strong baby boomer generation. The company hopes that through their efforts, life settlements will become a viable investment and retirement planning option for boomers.

These awards, by one of the largest associations in marketing and communications, reflect the quality of our efforts to educate consumers about life insurance settlements. We have also taken great pride in the development and distribution of our messages, so these awards are a wonderful validation," Terrell said.
