Neuberger Berman Appoints Eli Salzmann Manager of Partners Fund; Michael Greene to Manage Regency Fund
Neuberger Berman Group recently announced the appointment of Eli M. Salzmann as manager for the Neuberger Berman Partners Fund (tickers: NPNAX, NPNCX, NBPIX, NPRTX, NBPTX, NBPBX, NPNRX) and the Neuberger Berman AMT Partners Portfolio, effective immediately. Salzmann, who joined the firm in January as a managing director and portfolio manager specializing in U.S. large-cap value equity strategies, will continue to manage the Neuberger Berman Large-Cap Value Fund (tickers: NVAAX, NVACX, NLRLX) and fundamental large-cap value strategy for institutional clients.
Additionally, Michael C. Greene has been appointed manager of the Neuberger Berman Regency Fund (tickers: NBRAX, NBRCX, NBRTX, NBRVX, NBREX, NBRRX), the Neuberger Berman AMT Regency Portfolio, and associated subadvised accounts, effective immediately. Greene is managing director and portfolio manager within The Greene Group, one of over 40 distinct investment teams within Neuberger Berman. S. Basu Mullick, managing director and formerly manager of the Partners and Regency funds, and his team, are pursuing other opportunities.
SEC Names Lacey Dingman as Director of Office of Human Resources
The SEC announced Dec. 8 that Lacey Dingman has been named director of the agency's Office of Human Resources, which oversees and advises on the strategic management of the SEC's human resources. OHR develops, implements, and evaluates the SEC's programs and policies for staffing, recruitment, retention and separations. In addition, OHR is the SEC's liaison to the Office of Personnel Management, professional organizations, other federal agencies, educational institutions, and the private sector, on matters involving human capital management activities.
Dingman has been deputy managing executive in the SEC's Division of Enforcement, with responsibility for fulfilling the program's staffing needs and providing advice and assistance on human capital planning and development. Before joining the SEC in April 2010, Dingman was at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where she started as a forensic investigator and later became a special advisor to the chairman.
